Meet Siddhartha Bhattacharyya, a 15-year-old boy, affectionately known as Bhuto, a remarkable individual who has been a part of DeepRanjani since 2022. Despite facing the challenges of autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Siddhartha's journey is a testament to resilience, determination, and the power of community support. His loving parents, Paramita Saha and Shib Shankar Bhattacharyya, who stand by him every step of the way, providing unwavering encouragement and support, have also been a pillar to him in his journey with DeepRanjani. As a bright-eyed student, Siddhartha stepped into DeepRanjani eager to learn and explore. His journey began with curiosity and enthusiasm, immersing himself in the vibrant culture of our community. With each passing day, Siddhartha's thirst for knowledge grew, and he quickly became an integral part of our family.
Today, Siddhartha stands before us as an intern, a shining example of what can be achieved with support and empowerment. His current goals are to become a supported employee at DeepRanjani and be independent career-wise. His journey from student to intern is a testament to his perseverance and the transformative power of inclusivity. Sulagna Barat, fondly known as Dia by her family, joined the DeepRanjani Foundation on February 16, 2022, at the age of 25. Living with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Sulagna's journey at DeepRanjani is a testament to her dedication and the supportive environment cultivated by the foundation. When Sulagna first arrived at DeepRanjani, she began as a student, where she quickly displayed a remarkable ability to follow instructions and maintain decorum. Recognizing her potential, she transitioned to a trainee and then to an intern, eventually becoming a supported employee.
Throughout her time at DeepRanjani, she has worked diligently in both the Spice and Multimedia Units. In the Spice Unit, Sulagna efficiently sieves spices, ensuring high-quality standards are met. Her precision and attention to detail are unmatched. In the Multimedia Unit, she collaborates on various projects, showcasing her ability to adapt and work with minimal supervision. Her cooperative nature and neat presentation have made her an invaluable part of the team. Despite her challenges with verbal communication, Sulagna's actions speak volumes about her capabilities. She participates actively in cultural events at DeepRanjani, sharing her love for singing with the community. Her parents, Mr Tapas Kumar Barat and Mrs Barnali Barat are incredibly proud of her achievements. Rohit Khanna joined the DeepRanjani Foundation on February 16, 2022, at the age of 21. Living with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Rohit’s journey at DeepRanjani has been a remarkable story of dedication and growth. Starting as a student, Rohit’s cooperative nature and neat presentation quickly stood out. His ability to follow instructions and maintain decorum allowed him to progress smoothly from a trainee to an intern. Today, at 23, he is a supported employee at DeepRanjani, making significant contributions to both the Spice and Multimedia Units. In the Spice Unit, Rohit excels in sieving, grinding, and organizing spices, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards. His precision and hard work have made him an essential part of the team. In the Multimedia Unit, Rohit collaborates on various projects, demonstrating his versatility and capability to work with minimal supervision.
Rohit’s talents extend beyond his professional duties. He enjoys playing the synthesizer and actively participates in cultural events at DeepRanjani, adding a vibrant touch to the community. His communication skills are clear, making him an effective communicator within the team. Rohit's parents, Mr Sushil Kumar Khanna and Mrs Ritu Khanna are immensely proud of his achievements. They have witnessed his growth and development with great joy and are thankful to DeepRanjani for the opportunities and support provided. Roshnee Mundhra, affectionately known as Punam by her family, joined the DeepRanjani Foundation on February 13, 2023, at the age of 24. Her journey at DeepRanjani has been one of remarkable growth and achievement. Starting as a student, Roshnee’s cooperative nature and dedication to her tasks quickly stood out. Although she occasionally struggles with following instructions, she consistently gives her best effort. Her perseverance has allowed her to progress from a trainee to her current role as an intern. Roshnee is now looking forward to becoming a supported employee at DeepRanjani and exploring future employment opportunities. Roshnee has been excelling in both the Art and Craft Unit and the Bakery Unit. In the Bakery Unit, she demonstrates a keen understanding of hygiene practices and accurately measures raw materials for baking cookies. Her meticulousness ensures that the baked goods are always of high quality.
In the Art and Craft Unit, Roshnee showcases her skills in coloring, cutting, and pasting materials, creating beautiful and intricate crafts. Beyond her professional roles, Roshnee loves to cook and travel, adding joy and creativity to her life. Her parents, Mr. Ajay Kumar Mundhra and Mrs. Anju Mundhra, initially did not realize that Roshnee belonged to the special needs community. However, with the expert guidance and continuous support from DeepRanjani trainers, they have witnessed a tremendous transformation in her. They are now incredibly proud of her progress and deeply grateful to DeepRanjani for helping Roshnee unlock her potential. Roshnee’s story is a testament to her patience, hard work, and active participation in group tasks. Her parents firmly believe in her bright future and are confident that she will continue to thrive with the support of DeepRanjani. Meet Aniket Das, affectionately known as Gullu by his family. Aniket joined DeepRanjani on April 13, 2022, at the age of 15. Now 17, Aniket is a polite and well-spoken young man who excels in mental math and monetary transactions, despite his struggles with reading and dyslexia. His journey at DeepRanjani began as a student, progressed to a trainee, and he is currently an intern, eagerly aiming to become a supported employee. Aniket works diligently in the stitching, spice, and multimedia units. His passion shines through in the stitching unit, where he is known for his cooperation and dedication, although he continues to work on improving his measurement skills.
In the spice unit, Aniket is efficient and meticulous, ensuring the highest quality in his tasks. His time management skills are impressive, and he is always punctual and aware of deadlines. Aniket is also very well-dressed and presentable, making a positive impression on everyone he meets. Beyond his vocational work, Aniket is an active participant in the cultural events held at DeepRanjani, showcasing his enthusiasm and commitment to community life. His parents, Nani Gopal Das and Sarbani Das, are immensely proud of his progress and look forward to seeing him achieve independence. They are grateful to DeepRanjani for the remarkable transformation in Aniket over the past two years, crediting the dedicated staff for his growth and development.
