Hi, you can use this tool to assess whether your child or ward with neuro-developmental disabilities will show reasonable success in a vocational rehabilitation programme and be able to learn vocational skills and utilise these skills for gainful employment.
Can your child take care of his/her toilet needs & maintain hygiene?
Can your child eat his/her food using own hands/spoon?
Can your child sit & finish a task on his/her own for 30 mins at a stretch without prompts & disturbing others?
Is the child able to follow one- step verbal instruction?
Is the child able to follow instructions given through gestures & pictures?
Can the child express his needs using words/gestures/pictures?
Is the child able to identify colours, shapes, letters & numbers?
Can the child discriminate quantities & sizes ( big/small, more/less)?
Can the child meaningfully count items upto 20?
Does the child have time orientation & follow the clock?
Does the child have a habit of following an everyday routine for activities?
Is the child aware of the dangers & can use sharp objects like scissors, knife, paper cutter safely?
Is the child aware of safety concepts while operating electrical items & crossing roads?
Does the child independently finish simple household work like cleaning snack dishes, washing small clothes like undergarments, dusting furniture, making tea/noodles?
Is the child able to apply adequate hand pressure according to the activity given?
